Rene’ Plummer-Kemp currently works for Amazon Fulfilment Center in DFW. Rene’ was inducted into the Alpha Omega Omega Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Texas State Technical College-Waco in November of 2004. Since then she has served as Chapter Vice President, Chapter President, Regional Officer-District III Vice President, and continued to serve the region as a former editor for The Texan, program assistant, and through officer positions with Texas Region Alumni Association. When not at work or at a Phi Theta Kappa event you can find her with family. You will often hear her talking about her kids and grandkids. One of her greatest joys is being Nana to Railynn, Orin, Noah, Bethany, Axel and Kimberly. Her hobbies include NASCAR, fishing, darts and dancing.
Originally inducted into Phi Theta Kappa by my home chapter Alpha Mu Tau at Collin College in Plano, TX, I am excited to serve the Texas Region through the Texas Region Alumni Association! I have just finished an undergrad in Finance and am currently doing graduate work in Energy Management with a goal to be in a strong position to facilitate the transition from traditional fossil fuels to more sustainable energy sources in the coming years. I like a little bit of all things from hiking, climbing, and hunting outdoors to music and video games, to hot-rodding and working on cars. No topic or idea is too big or too small to discuss, and I love a good conversation. I can be reached at: firstname.lastname@example.org or DM me on Discord at Xenc#5570
A Big Texas Howdy, Alumni! I’m Danny Rose and I have been actively involved with ΦΘΚ through the Phi Tau chapter at Tarrant County College-Northeast campus since man discovered fire. We just began using rocks and sticks. Oh.. wait.. different tale.. I serve as your TRAA Vice President. We have a lot going on this year and hope you join us. I am in a profession most of you cannot live without- coffee! I wake you up in the morning and keep you going throughout the day; you just wait until we are face-to-face at a convention! Fun things you need to know about me: watch out, I like to run with scissors, I eat cookies for dinner, and I put my feet on the furniture. While I don’t take life very seriously, I do take this organization and what it stands for very seriously. That is not a compromise. BTW, my membership number is 5. (Dr. Margaret Mosal has #1, B. Blair has #2, Dr. Hood has 3, Dr. Risley has #4, then I have 5.) While I do not put myself on par with these individuals, I do aspire to reach to their levels. If you ever need me, contact Candace, she will make sure to let me know. Enjoy!
I am a current undergrad student at University of Houston studying to be a high school English teacher! My home chapter was Lonestar College Tomball, Alpha Rho Mu. I love coffee, spreadsheets, and helping Phi Theta Kappa chapters reach their goals! A fun fact about me- I love promoting the fellowship pillar of Phi Theta Kappa since I met my best friend through the organization (and now we both serve as alumni officers)! We really are an example of how this great big thing can have such a large impact in every aspect of your life!
